Joanne Is Getting An Office Studio

Unread post by Joanne » Tue Jan 21, 2020 8:46 am

Exciting news. I am moving into an office space at the beginning of March and I am so excited. :D

It will give me a place where I can relax and work as well as allowing me to create a studio where I can record more video content for my site and Youtube channel.

This is a huge step for me and one not without risk but I hope it is the right decision at this time. I will keep everyone posted as to how I get one but here is a sneak preview of the space.

More information about the office can be read here.

How exciting!!! I know fully well the anxiety involved in such a step. My first career choice was to be an automobile mechanic. I did this for 8 years at a local full service mom and pop gas station and gained a good reputation. I drove by an empty building one day and said to myself this would make a good shop and 3 weeks later I was open for business. I did this for 10 years until the economy went sour. Then 20 years ago I got the computer bug really bad and went back to school. I did not go to college after high school. I never dreamed i could do 4 years after being out for 20 years and graduate with a 4.0 but I did and that is what I have been doing since. My initial thoughts are that you are making a positive step forward. You do a lot for the community and are well respected and very approachable and honest. As long has you are has driven as you are, enjoy what you do and have a plan, you will enjoy success. My next source of anxiety (which I am looking forward to but is still scary) is retirement in a few years. Looking forward to watching your progress.

Thanks Lawman,

It was nice of you to share some of your background, those were two big jumps for you and the biggest one (retirement) is yet to come, good luck with that one.

I am pretty driven and can be very focussed, this decision should be one I won't regret. My mind has been running at a million miles an hour with things I need to do, build and research so that I can get the most out of it.

I am halfway through printing out a Teleprompter I have designed in Fusion360 that will hopefully allow me to up my game where video reviews are concerned. I have sound deadening panels to make and a studio and office to create when I finally get my hands on the keys at the beginning of March.

Exciting times ahead I think and I look forward to sharing them with everyone.

Thank you StimDog, it should be a lot of hard work but also lots of fun too.
